The Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical (CNDM), a unit of the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM), has collected the activities previously included by the Centro para la Difusión de la Música Contemporánea (CDMC), the Centro de Músicas Históricas de León and the own programming of the National Music Auditorium, configuring a general proposal that develops and extends those sound limits.

Among its fundamental tasks are the promotion and dissemination of contemporary Spanish music; recover, value and disseminate historical music, in any of its styles, as well as attend to other non-standard repertoires of classical music and the cultured popular tradition, which require this specific support for their proper knowledge and dissemination.
